Hurricane Polo Passes — Zero Damage at Our Facility

When Hurricane Polo was tracking toward Baja California Sur, a lot of our customers were watching the forecasts closely — and rightfully so. Storms like Polo can cause serious damage to boats, trailers, RVs, and vehicles left exposed. We are happy to report that every single boat and vehicle stored at our facility came through completely unharmed.

Zero damage. Not a scratch.

What Happened During the Storm

As Polo approached, our team monitored conditions around the clock. The facility held up exactly as it should. Our covered storage areas, security fencing, and the overall layout of the property did their job. When the storm passed, we walked the entire facility and found no damage to any stored vehicle or vessel.

Every customer's property was exactly as they left it.

Last-Minute Customers Made the Right Call

In the days leading up to the storm, we had several customers reach out at the last minute asking if we could take their boats in for protection. We made room, got them in, and they were very glad they made that call.

Hearing from those customers afterward — knowing they had peace of mind while the storm passed — is exactly why we do what we do. A boat left on a trailer in an exposed location during a hurricane is a serious risk. Getting it into a monitored, protected facility before the storm is always the right move.

Why Covered and Monitored Storage Matters

Loreto sits in a region where tropical storms and hurricanes are a real seasonal consideration. If you own a boat, trailer, RV, or vehicle and you spend time away from Loreto — or simply cannot be here to move your property when a storm develops — having it stored at a secure facility gives you options.

When a storm is coming, you do not want to be scrambling. You want to know your property is already somewhere safe.

Our facility offers:

Covered storage that shields vehicles and boats from wind-driven rain and debris

24/7 monitoring so your property is never left unattended

Secure perimeter fencing that keeps the facility protected

A location near Loreto International Airport — easy to access when you arrive or depart
